The 2025 season of the Repco D1NZ National Drifting Championship kicks off at Taupo, with a hectic double-header – who will get a head start in the 2025 Champion fight?

With an action packed weekend of full battle trees both Saturday & Sunday and over 50 top NZ drivers here in the central North Island, fans should lock it in ahead of Christmas.

The fans spoke and we listened - both classes are back TOGETHER for the full season!! For Round 1 this event the pits are accessible so you can meet and greet your favourite drivers!

Tickets purchased online (available before the event only) are more cost-effective than at the gate.

Adult pricing is for those aged 15+
Child pricing is for those aged 8-14 (ages 7 and under are FREE)

GATES OPEN AT 10AM EACH DAY
Friday is practice and qualifying for both classes.
Saturday is the battle day for Round 1.
Sunday is the battle day for Round 2, both Pro-Sport and Pro classes respectively (expected to finish 5.00pm)

EVENT REMINDERS
Closed toe and sensible shoes are recommended for the whole family as you may need to walk through an area where the cars have been transiting (there could be fluid, screws or sharp metal objects dropped).

We recommend you bring along what you need for all weather scenarios, from sunscreen to warm clothes and umbrellas - we drift rain or shine. Please remember there are no pass-outs, so bring what you need.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
No commercial food or alcohol is to be brought into the venue (a home-packed lunch-box is fine), there will be food and beverages available at the venue.
